The Priceless Parrot Preserve, Inc. exists for
the purpose of educating the public about exotic birds, (both domestic and in
the wild) and to give a permanent home to abused, mistreated, and unwanted
exotic birds. We will not sell, breed, or adopt out any birds who come
into our care. Our birds will live out the rest of their lives here with
dignity, respect and loving care. We will take in birds that are no longer
of "pet quality" provided they have no illnesses that would threaten the rest of
our flock. We handle mainly large macaws and cockatoos, but will take in
smaller birds, room permitting.

Mechanical
If you have a cockatoo or african grey,
this type of toy is a must have! Endless, indestructible
entertainment is what you get with this great toy! Great for both
medium and large birds, so you can alternate if you have both. I
have a goffins and a moluccan, and they both would rather unscrew nuts
and bolts to forage for food then to chew on a wood toy.
All parts on this toy are dishwasher safe. The bolts and wing
nuts are stainless steel to last a lifetime. It will come
pre-filled with everyone's favorite "Nutriberries," and it's very
easy to refill after these are gone. You can put seed, other
treats, fun little toy parts, just about anything inside. Your
bird can see them, but they have to undo the wing nuts in order to get
to them. This toy can have several different levels of fun as
well by simply taking away the wing nuts, or turning them up or down.

Jumbo Cotton Snuggle Ring
This is a very nice, very durable, tons of fun, 100% Superior cotton rope
swing. I've seen these sold for over a $100.00 before on the web, but
not here at Big Beaks! Yes, they take tons of rope to make, and hours
of tying, but the end result is worth it! This size measures
approximately 22 inches in diameter. Any large bird will enjoy this
nice, soft place to sleep in the top of their cage. The cool part
about these is, the more your birds use them, the nicer they look.
This is also a wonderful "preening" toy for feather pluckers. The
inside is a 100% bird safe, welded ring (unlike most that are wood and
easily chewed). We use over a 170 feet of cotton rope on this toy.

Ball-N-Chain
We had to bring this toy
back! All new, and updated version of our old Ball-N-Chain. My
greenwing absolutely loves to swing up-side down from this fun toy.
There are lots of fun pacifiers popped into a brightly colored softball size
wiffle ball, along with 6 very durable, large star beads, and 4 large
interstar rings. Everything is hung with chain, along with a bird safe
welded O ring at the bottom. It measures approximately 18 inches long

Spoiled Rotten
Absolutely beautiful, and very large is the only way to describe this
wonderful, ALL plastic, very large bird toy! Every single part on this
great toy is a very large colorful plastic. NO small parts on this
one! There is a nice mixture of chewy boats and alphabets, the largest
hard plastic bead there is, and very cute hollow plastic bunnies, ducks,
fish, frogs and more! The center is a very thick, colorful, and
reusable acrylic disk with 24 strands of Superior cotton rope. There
is more than 140 different parts. If just the toy parts alone were
purchased in our toy section, they would cost well over $125.00. So
the price may look high, but you couldn't buy the parts and make it for
less! It measures approximately 24 inches wide by 24 inches long, and
is most definitely my moluccan's favorite toy! This toy has lots of

Maspeth Bird Haven, Inc. (MBH), is a not-for-profit organization formally
incorporated on January 19, 2005, for the purposes of sheltering and harboring
all species of parrots, rescuing them where permissible from harmful and
neglectful situations, and placing parrots for adoption into qualified homes.
MBH also performs community outreach, by providing educational and scientific
information about the care, natural habitat, history, and scientific
nomenclature of parrots, and performing assisted animal therapy in local nursing
home facilities.

family members deserve a second chance to find a home and a loving family to

What a wonderful, all natural, refillable, large bird toy for very
destructive beaks. Especially those that chew rope! This toy is
completely made of chain. It weighs close to five pounds and has a
nice combination of hardwood wheels, pine rectangles, and all natural wood
slices. Each of the four strands has a solid, bird safe welded O ring
at the bottom. At the top of each strand are four quick links
connected to eye hooks. These will come very tight so your bird cannot
open them. When it comes time to refill the toy, open the quick links
with pliers, refill the strands and put them back on! Instantly you
have a nice new toy. The refill kit is available to your right.
The center block of wood that everything hangs from is a very hard piece of
maple, and I have yet to see a bird that can do much if any damage to it!
